Here are a few of the most popular branding types for Apparel & Workwear: • Embroidery • Screen print • Heat press Branding Options Each product has a suggested branding method icon, these are suggestions of the best branding method to use for your products. Pad printing is done using a silicone pad. It functions as a transfer vehicle, picking up ink from the printing plate, and pressing it directly onto the product. Screen printing is a printing technique whereby a mesh screen is used to transfer ink onto a substrate. This is the most common method of imprinting on promotional items and apparel. Embroidery is stitched with a computerised embroidery machine using patterns digitised with embroidery software. This method is achieved by burning the top layer of the substrate with a thin laser beam that cuts through the product creating a lasting detailed logo. Digital printing is a method whereby the image is printed directly onto the product. This application provides you with a full colour printing option. Deboss printing involves creating a die in the shape of a logo that is pressed into the surface creating a permanent sunken design. Digital stickers are digitally printed directly onto a vinyl adhesive substrate that can be affixed to a product. This application provides you with a full colour printing option. Dome printing is digitally printed directly onto a vinyl adhesive substrate that can be cut into a variety of shapes and sizes. The stickers are then coated with a polyurethane to give a dome-like appearance creating a 3D effect.
